GAYA JI PIND DAAN PUJA HISTORY

Hello this is gaya ji pind daan pandit sataym barij. Today we have come to know some information about gaya ji Pind Daan Pandit and puja through which we have come to know why Pind Daan is done and when it started.

First of all I will tell you why Gayasur got this name During Satyagya there was a demon named Gayasur who prayed to Brahma after doing tapasya for thousands of years. When Lord Brahma came in front of him, he asked him what do you want Gayasur.

Then Gayasur said to Lord Brahma that give me the boon that my body should be holy from the three worlds. Then Brahma gave him the boon that my body should be holy from the three worlds and he disappeared.

Just like Gayasur’s body was very holy from the three worlds after that All the sinful, demons, touched his body and attained heaven.

Due to this the balance of hell and heaven got disturbed. Being worried about this Brahma ji went to Maha Vishnu Narayan and told him all these things.

Then Lord Shri Hari Narayan went to gayaSur and asked for his body to perform Yagya on his body.

Then Sur said that my body is of a human and will be burnt in the Yagya Prabhu.

Then Narayan said that a dharmshila will be placed on top of you due to which your body will not burn.

Then Sur told him. Gave permission for yagya When the yagya was completed, Gaya said to him that now please give us permission to get up,

then Brahma said that he will get up again and the balance of heaven and hell will be disturbed,

performing yagya will become useless and asked Narayan that what will happen if this yagya goes waste

Then Narayan pressed Gayasur’s chest with his right foot and Gayasur went below the earth. Then Gayasur said, “Prabhu, whatever I tapped, all that went away.”

Then Shriman Narayan said to Gayasur, “No Gayasur, your tapping will not go in vain. As long as the sun and moon exist, this earth will be known by your name.”

And then Gayasur said, “What will I say if I get hungry?” Then Narayan said, “You will get a mund and a pind every day,

Gayasur. If it happens even for a single day, then you should come out of this earth.” From then on, the problem of Pind Daan started in Gaya ji
